I already applied to law schools for this year, but I'm thinking of re-taking in June. Does anyone know how this would affect my current application process?
If I were to register tomorrow for the LSAT, would the schools put a hold on my current applications?
What if I applied, and then re-took LSAT in June? Forum

it might affect some long standing waitlist your have if you're already on the very top of their list and you are desperate to only attend that school... and your LSAT was clearly the main reason they didnt immediately accept you.

Re: What if I applied, and then re-took LSAT in June?
the reason i wanted to do that last year is as follows:
i do significantly worse in certain pressure situations
i did much worse in the LSAT than i did on proctored practices
so i would take the June test because the pressure is off (already accepted or waiting, etc)
if i did significantly better, withdraw my apps and apply again next year to better schools
if i did marginally better, the same, or worse, well it doesn't matter because i already applied
no sure how this scenario plays out in real life, though.
