Are hornbooks good to read before you start law school?

Common mistake, "dearth" means scarcity not abundance. Sorry. (as in i feel like a dick for doing this its 1/2 pet peeve 1/2 don't make the mistake on an exam or something like that).

Today at work a guy kept saying "irregardless" and it really got on my nerves. I am new there and didn't want to be a dick and tell him his favorite word to use to make him sound smarter is in fact not even a word.

Nope. You won't understand them because you aren't reading them in context and thinking like a lawyer. Plus you'll be shunned as gunner scum when you get to school.
