Question Regarding "Regional" Schools
I have a question. I hear a lot about "regional" schools, usually pertaining to those schools outside the top 20 or so. My question is whether this is because the material studied (lower ranked schools more state specific) or because of the connections available. My uncle is partner at a large Chicago firm (500 + attorneys) and my other uncle is partner at a San Francisco firm (Smaller firm). However, I am looking at attending a smaller midwest T2 school. What do you guys think. Will these connections matter even though I am attending a lower ranked school? Thank's guys.

Regional reflects the job opportunities, not material learned.gustrock wrote:I have a question. I hear a lot about "regional" schools, usually pertaining to those schools outside the top 20 or so. Do you see yourself at one of your uncles firms, and if so, ask them if it matters what school you go to. If it doesn't, go wherever you want.
