That's not the point. My point of having an educated populace is to better society as a whole, not to benefit any particular company that happens to hire one of those people.GettingReady2010 wrote:Of course. I'd be willing to sacrifice a some work output for a more educated populace. Plus, you are ignoring that businesses can and most of the time do train their own employees. Jobs are so diverse that it seems unlikely that college, even if it focused entirely on applicable skills, could do away with on the job training entirely.
