Because that's exactly the same thing as when you're being questioned by the person who holds your future in his / her hands.

I like that you sarcastically dismiss my posts or give these pithy, definitive rejections. It makes it seem like you're working in biglaw, and I'm the uneducated, speculating 0L. Oh wait.

If you really think that the only way to prepare for interviews is actually to have those interviews (which is false, by the way), then go and grab some interviews in the summer before OCI. It's not hard. People will interview you. Whether they'll give you an offer is another question. But it can't hurt to put yourself through the paces.

The only way to really know how to interview is to do it. All the practice interviews in the world can't compare to actually interviewing for a real job that you want / need.

Practice interviews during law school can be very important. Even if you've been through a lot of interviews, a legal one might be different. Skipping them is not advisable no matter how much experience you have in another field.
