this is the most insipid thread ever. who really cares? wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I'm going to school in CA where it's sunny most of the year so I'll be wearing cargo shorts and flip flops every now and then with tshirts. I'll probably wear jeans and comfortabe shoes with a polo, too. and I'll wear business casual when needed and go formal whenever the occasion merits it. If you can pull a look off why not? People who are clothes whores probably tend to be that way because they need the clothes to make them look better as a whole. Fortunately for some of us, it doesn't matter what we wear.

I guess you missed the thread which discussed the best highlighter and where to buy it.

Yes, it's school and not work. That's why I'm not advocating showing up in a suit. T-shirts are still inappropriate for a bunch of people in their mid 20s. Looking around, I can't see a single person in the atrium on a Sunday wearing a t-shirt...

EDIT: Oh, there is one. It's salmon colored. Very classy.

Personally I feel like leather boots/shoes and jeans are perfect but I am a boot fiend so this is just my opinion.

It means you have some style. I like to dress. You never know who's watching. I won't be in suits unless i have an interview, but I might wear a blazer once a week (Fridays) with jeans or flat front/skinny pants.

Normally, I'll wear skinny pants/flat front pants/slacks with a boot or loafer, a nice v-neck with a shirt under it or a fitted button-down shirt, and a leather or suede jacket. At school, I like to look "dressed", but not dressed up. Even if I wear jeans, I'll put on a loafer, and a cardigan with a shirt and skinny tie to go with it. But that's my style. I will do jeans and a really nice t-shirt once in awhile...with a loafer.

Just one loafer at a time, then? :*)
