I didn't read any of the other posts, but if the dog's in the T14, I'd bet good money they'd still pass all their classes.

This thread is definitely pushing me towards getting a dog. I'm not sure I can resist even though I have been advised against it. I just know that I will flip if a dog pees throughout my brand new apartment.

For as long as I have been on this site... I have no idea how to embed an image. So how do I do it?PrincetonLaw wrote:any pictures of the litter?msblaw89 wrote:Put a deposit down for an irish goldendoodle ( mother is 1/2 irish setter 1/2 golden retriever) Dad is 100% poodle. If this is the case don't get a dog. It WILL pee in your apartment at some point.Marissals wrote:This thread is definitely pushing me towards getting a dog. Re: Thoughts on having a dog in law school?
I have a dog (well, fiance's dog, but I seem to do most of the work...), and I really think it's been a net positive during 1L year. Sure, it adds to the workload a little bit, but it's also good for the whole emotional well-being/sanity. There's a reason why Yale and a few other schools have "library dogs" now.
Of course, this is a small dog (15 lbs? maybe?), and he's ~3 years old (house-trained, low-maintenance). Not sure I'd spring for a new puppy right before law school.

When you get your puppy, post pics in this thread! http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 0&t=155452msblaw89 wrote:Okay, well I don't know how to embed an image...but here is the link with the picture of my soon to be puppy. Also, having a dog in LS is great. But now that finals are approaching I want to spend all day in the library.. and I can't because of my dog. That's the downside.
