New MacBook Air starts at $999 and has up to 12 hours battery life. Decision made.

An 11 inch laptop for school would be retarded for law school. Do you go to law school?CourCour wrote:New MacBook Air starts at $999 and has up to 12 hours battery life. Decision made.

Get something with a good screen, keyboard, and battery life. With Macs, you know you're getting all three. They can be found on PC laptops as well but you should be cautious about buying one sight unseen over the internet.

Where did I say to get an 11" laptop? I said it starts at $999. Its actually $949 with the education discount. An 11 inch laptop for school would be retarded for law school. Do you go to law school?
Also, you shouldn't use the R word. Its incredibly offensive to people with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their family members and friends.

Are you an Apple shill? Why would you think that mentioning the price of a terrible laptop choice is somehow justified?CourCour wrote:Where did I say to get an 11" laptop? I said it starts at $999. You're going to be great in law school.
And no it isn't. I know two retarded guys and they never get offended.

They're just better in most possible worlds.

The 13" MacBook Air wouldn't be totally retarded: super portable, screen is a decent size, Haswell processor and DAT battery life. I had a 15" MacBook Pro during undergrad, but by now I'm over Macs. Lenovo Thinkpad for me.

Re: Good Laptops for LS Students
I just bought a Acer M5-481PT-6488 for right under 500.
Seemed like the best balance of value and windows 8 functionality. I've been rocking a Macbook since like 2006, but it's on its last legs now and I'm ready for a change.
