T1 w/o money Or T2 with money? Forum

The posts on this thread are confusing as frack.

Good ideas:

-T14/T14 with money.
-T1 in the region you want to practice in, and wouldn't mind practicing there for the rest of your life AND you get a full ride/almost full ride.
-A T2 that dominates your regional market (i.e, Arkansas or Hawaii). Same rules apply from T1.
-Not going to law school

Bad ideas:

Pretty much anything else.

Close, but yeah.

Good idea:
- T14*
- School that dominates regional market where you want to live and practice if the cost is reasonable (could be in-state, could be scholly, depending on the school)
- For large regions (e.g. Boston, DC, NY, Philly) the 2nd (and possibly 3rd) best school in the region with a decent scholarship

Bad idea:
- Attending a non-T14 at a high cost;
- Attending schools that are also-rans in the local market (e.g. NYLS/Touro, which are, depending on how you count, at least 8th worst in the market - and possibly 14th)

*note that some people will argue that even a T14 at sticker isn't worth it. I'm ignoring the lunatic fringe.
