2. Are you currently friends IRL with someone you knew first through TLS?
3. If so, are they similar or vastly different from what you expected?

1. Yea, a number of students I know have TLS accounts. Maybe one quarter of the student body reads this forum?
2. I haven't ever met up with people I met on TLS, but I have had a few people in real life (very recently) figure out who I am on TLS (pretty easy since I'm a URM). It is interesting to see how they post on TLS compared to real life.
3. I think everyone on TLS is a pretty normal person. Just like most law students.
