what was the correlation again for LSAT and 1 yr success at law schools? like +0.4 or something; mind you, this isnt AMAZING, but it is prob the best thing out there (at the moment)...if you combine GPA and LSAT, it goes even higher
so at least for the first yr, the LSAT is the best available indicator for law school performance -- far from a great predictor, but the 'best available'...which, in the context of things, means it should be a pretty decent reflection of your ability to do well in law school
