Probably.

I interviewed an applicant for an editing job once who showed up in a bikini covered by an extremely open weave crochet dress. It was sexy, and she looked good, but I didn't take her seriously at all. I mean, if the interview is for beach bartender, wear your bikini/thong. Otherwise, probably granny panties are the way to go. Or boxers if you're a dude.

My bad. I'm a girl and don't know much about male undies. Just saying that men probably shouldn't wear thongs to interviews either. :)

If sexuality is a large component of your confidence, wear a thong (underwear).

If you're a girl, then no. If you're a guy, then yes.

In my case it is, but my thing is to trim up nicely. Done in the event I have to whip it out to get the job. I want to give the appearance of someone who's hygienic.

Who wears a white suit to an interview?

You are supposed to wear black, navy or gray. Like para said, if someone can tell what you are wearing under your pants, perhaps you should not go dresses the way you were planning to.

Sometimes you just don't want something rubbing between your butt cheeks.

Yeah, thongs can be uncomfortable...

But srsly, what kind of outfit do you have to wear to let the interviewer know you're wearing a thong???

If it's comfortable, then go for it. Interviews are stressful enough, so might as well go in wearing comfy clothes. Of course, if you spend the entire interview wondering if it's showing, then that's not going to help either. But I think the take home here is that if your interviewer's looking around there and not at your face, you may want to consider other options
