Once you have your bachelors degree, subsequent grades don't matter. Your gpa is set. Oh and its "raise", not "rise".

So, does this mean if i have a masters degree, and got a gpa of 4.00 for the master, it would still not effect my chances of applying to law school in a good way?

It would be a decent soft, that's it. And before you ask what a soft is, look it up. There's a search function in the forum.

I'm not sure it's all that decent of a soft. Like 25% of all law school admits have a graduate degree...

True, but it would be monumentally stupid to get a MA merely to boost your law school admissions chances. (Which is what is being considered here because the OP does not have a MA yet.)

WOuldn't work, he would make all the same mistakes
