Yo dawg, I guarantee you that, at least around here, a West Chester Degree will get you a lot farther than a degree from, say Bowdoin or Grinnel or some other place only the US News and Reports have ever heard of. Local employers are gonna say what is that? And it'll mean less than my West Chester degree. Now if they said Swathmore they probably heard of it. But only because it's local. Know what I mean?
Strongly disagree. Recruiters for any job worth a damn will certainly familiarize themselves with a potential candidate's school.

Not true for small/medium size businesses. Hiring managers at smaller businesses will be more comfortable hiring local grads. Local school def. have the edge in local markets. But I don't think it is a good comparison because WC grads and small liberal arts college grads will face different prospective jobs. Law admission is different. A small liberal arts college is probably more impressive than a large public with very few gradudate applicants.

The shitty PASSHE school which is historically and traditionally the least shittiest. :P

(If you know anything about PASSHE or the PA State system of shitty state schools it's an obvious answer)

I have worked with clarion, millersville, and West Chester on NSF grant projects. But I sincerely do not know which one is considered the best. I also know from experience some departments in some of the them are decent. I have a positive experience so far at wc right now. I don't really think I could have gotten anything more out of a much better regarded school in term of educational experience but that strictly only apply to me since the only thing I value in UG is cost, time to degree and academic experience in class. All three have been great.

Well I'm not going to out myself that easily, but all I'll say is that my PASSHE school is the only one that is a Carnegie Doctoral certified school. Honestly though they all kinda suck
