I have been a complete bum this semester. I haven't cared less about school in years - normally I am bitching if I receive anything that isn't an A or A-, now I am just happy to be turning things in and occasionally attending class. Feels like high school all over again!

To be honest, I almost feel guilty. I am so used to actually caring about my grades it is kind of natural. It almost feels like work to me to be sitting here not caring, like I made a conscious decision this semester that I will NOT care about school. It has taken every bit of my strength not to pick up that Property outline I have on the bookshelf and start skimming through it. I don't want to be THAT guy.

To add to all this, I quit my job last semester so I had time to study for the LSAT, and I still haven't found a new one because I am enjoying sitting around doing nothing too much.

I'm actually taking 17 credits (what the fuck was I thinking?!) And I'm in 3, count 'em, 3 theatrical productions, one of the is Shakespeare. No wonder when my judicial process teacher assigns a reading on the merits of judicial elections, I'm like  Ha ha! That's a good one!

I absolutely have senioritis. I only need 15 hours to graduate and 3 of those hours are coming from an independent study class entitled: Beginning Computing, which is for people with no prior computer experience or knowledge. It should be a barn burner :D.

I was taking two classes. That was too much work, so I dropped one. My remaining class is with my advisor and I am taking it Pass/Fail. Senioritis? I think so.

I've got a near-terminal case. 12 credit hours, classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. One of those classes meets on Tuesdays only and lasts 1/2-2/3 of the ordinary 2 and a half hour class time. Another is a project I've been involved in for the 3 semesters (with no actual lecture classes), I just happen to be getting credit for it now. Gas dynamics and judicial process are the only 2 which have any sort of work attached to them. It's glorious.

I think I just rid myself of it after my first exam of the semester. Lowest exam grade I have had in the past two years.

I have it BAD. I'm taking 5 upper level classes, all of which I need to finish my double major. I'm so busy with extracurriculars (which take up at least 20 hours/week) plus trying to have a life that it's SO hard to make myself do work. :(

It's also hard knowing that none of the stuff I'm learning this semester will count in any way after May.

It's deadly. One of my classes is independent lab research (two full days a week) and it's tough to be fully invested in research when I know I'm going to be switching fields in just a few months. All I want to do is skip out and enjoy the easiest semester I've ever had.

taking 15 hours of easy-peezy classes...one of them is Film/TV Criticism where we watch at least one full movie a week and then talk about it. Last spring, I worked on a paper EVERY WEEKEND. I have about a quarter of that work this semester. I had senioritis in August, too. Last semester I took the LSAT twice...so that kept me busy...and also made me not care about classes. I still go, and do the work, and get As, but I'm coasting for sure. Pretty much I've used the first month to endear myself to the profs I haven't had before so I can skip a lot come March Madness.

however, my funds are low, so I can't really do anything really cool like road-trip every weekend or go out a lot. Oh well.

I'm supposed to have written a third of my thesis in the past week, which is attempting to give an account of consciousness.

What have I been doing instead? Playing peggle.

Takin 18 hours and seriously run the risk of failing and missing out on law school. I need a full bone marrow and blood transfusion. I have only been to most of my classes one or two times, I have even skipped exams and found a way to excuse and make it up. I wear gym shorts with leggings that are black with navy blue sweaters and always have a beenie or einstien hair, just don't giva a F. I feel like I am in limbow. A campus bus almost ran me over the other day when I jaywalked right in front of it, I had a sac of burritos in my hand so I couldn't shoot him the bird when he honked at me but I just mean mugged him and kept on walkin-gangster. My wife is ready for me to start law school and get motivated again, but I am having fun enjoying this semester. As long as I pass senioritis is awesome!!!!!

Zero motivation. Only four classes this semester - two are to fulfill one minor, another is to fulfill another minor, and one is some BS biology course I need to fulfill to graduate. Seriously considered forgetting about my two minors, dropping all but the biology class, and taking it easy.

You mean to the point of them revoking your acceptance? I've never heard of that being done.

Oh, I mean, if your GPA drops they revoke your acceptance and charge your credit card for their time you wasted. hth

OMG I love this thread. I have been so embarrassed about how lazy I feel. I only have three classes. Two on Tues and Thurs. and the third is an independent studay. I have no class five days a week! Somehow, I still cannot find the "time" to get my work done!!!

It is so weird. i have never felt like this before, but I am already in at my top choice law school, I have above a 4.0 at my current school, and so many new video games have just been released!!! :P

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
