In high school I wanted to be a golf course architect or a golf course manager. I decided that was too narrow so I broadened to business in college, originally thinking marketing. When I realized marketing meant sales at 35k a year and not working for cool advertising firms, I switched to management. When I realized you don't walk into management it was finance. I don't even know how I came to law, but the idea is a good fit and I am confident that I will enjoy my life given the right legal opportunity. Or I could be one of the millions who hate it and don't have a job, but I'm not ready to face unemployment yet haha

Hedge fund manager. Dream collapsed along with the market for subprime mortgage-backed securities, CDO's and in general, ITE.

Instead I'm trying to become a tax lawyer working for the hedge fund manager I wanted to become. Somehow in a weird way I think I could live with the fact that they wiped out my dreams by charging them $700 an hour to hide their money in the Caymans (legally of course).
