That calls for a riot (within legal bounds, of course).HennessyVSOP wrote:Today is my actual last day and OF COURSE Walmart is selling knockoffs of one of the designs my team patented, and OF COURSE HR claims i took 11 vacation days this year (I took 6) so my last paycheck is tiny
How shitty. My boss did similar shit, only he stripped me of vacation days because I wouldn't be working long enough to accrue em. So I'm just taking sick days as vacation days.

Re: Official Senioritis / Quitting Thread - Class of 2020
I'm sort of in the same boat. My last day is Thursday, and now that I've trained in my replacement, all my work is going to him, so I have nothing to do (except answer his questions as they come). I think it's better this way, because I know that once I'm gone he'll be ok without me, but I'm also SO bored. I've been reading my book a lot (Kindle web reader woo!). And prepping for moving across the country.lucretius_ wrote:Last day is Friday. Came in as a long-term temp (the oxymoronic title is not lost on me) for a big project. Pretty much finished that project last week. Every other task I've been given since then takes about an hour for which I've been given a whole day to complete. Not sure what I'll be doing all week, but I'm definitely ready to get out of here.
