Anybody else anxiously awaiting class schedules to come out? Based on the class of 2019 TLS thread it looks like they found out right around this time last year. Really excited to finally get on campus in a few weeks!

Yes!! I'm really excited I just want to know what section I'm in so I can buy my books and stuff! Also, I'm getting to my new apartment on the 16th and can't wait.

I've been having so many dreams about like forgetting to go to class week 2 that I'm dying to have my schedule so that I'll at least know when classes are so maybe I won't be so freaked out about that lol

You guys know when the loan get disbursed? The email says beginning of the Fall semester but any idea if we get it beforehand like a week or two before the first day of class? I need the money to buy the textbooks and it seems silly that they wont disburse the money until after the term starts so that cannot be right.

I don't know about Illinois specifically, but I know that is how many schools work...I think many assume students have the ability to float the cost of books (thankfully I can do this but I know many students cannot and unlike undergrad it seems to be more important to have the books early on)

The main tip I've seen so far is to scan copies of the pages of the books you need from a library or friend copy. IDK much about our library (lol at missing admitted students day and feeling so clueless about some things oh well) but I assume we have access to scanners and if not cell phone pictures can probably get the job done for the first weeks of class while waiting for books to arrive.

If the release follows last year, then I wouldn't expect sections until next Tuesday. Although it appears this would be the week, classes started 6 days earlier last year, which is why I would expect the sections to be released a week later than last year.
From what I saw, last year the sections were released 22 days prior to the Wednesday of Orientation, and that date for us would be Tuesday August 1st.

it's the password you set for like your email and everything else (I think fin aid too possibly can't remember right now)

Also like everyone on the groupme is also having intranet problems so I'm guessing they just haven't gotten to that part yet

man thats gonna be rough by the end of the semester... my tues are my latest day at 8:30-4. I was on the quarter system before, so looking forward to the change!
