Re: Texas Law c/o 2020 - Hook 'em!!! [Under New Management]
My What I owe page, says my tuition bill is like 7 grand, but I have a scholarship and an resident exemption and took max loans for this semester (though loans haven't been dispersed yet). Should I be worried, or will this clear itself up once loans are dispersed and I complete my scholarship donor acknowledgment?

I think you have to click pay with financial aid to pay with loans.RC_Cola wrote:My What I owe page, says my tuition bill is like 7 grand, but I have a scholarship and an resident exemption and took max loans for this semester (though loans haven't been dispersed yet). I don't have the pay with financial aid option. I haven't been to UT and upgraded me EID yet, so maybe that's the issue.Torres1893 wrote:I think you have to click pay with financial aid to pay with loans.RC_Cola wrote:My What I owe page, says my tuition bill is like 7 grand, but I have a scholarship and an resident exemption and took max loans for this semester (though loans haven't been dispersed yet). Has anyone gone to get their ID? I should have left my apartment earlier because this line is long.

That line is always long. My ID has a picture of me scowling because I was there for like an hour.

FYI class of 2020 (and hikko): go to Snarf's and order online using their 50% off code. Use a different email each time (make it up, it doesn't matter, you don't get a confirmation or anything) and get 50% off each time. Huge subs for like $4.

Friends, Romans, TLSers, lend me your ears; I come to bury 1L angst, not to praise it.
If you happen to have Chesney for ConLaw, McGarity for Torts, Mullenix for CivPro, Graham for CrimPro, Johansson for Property, Bracha for Contracts, or need LRW books and materials, feel free to PM me.
I saw on Dr. Oz once that the one of the only ways to get over trauma is to eliminate its source. Help me help you help me.

Hi,
I’m a 0L and I just got my scholarship offer of $0. I’m in state, so sticker is still palatable, but it isn’t ideal. Did any of y’all have success with the re-consideration process? I’d love to hear more about it.

Negotiate with other schools until you have 1-3 good offers that you would reasonably take, then write an explanation to UT about why you want to attend but it needs to make financial sense to do so.HenryHankPalmer wrote:Hi,

Source: I got a scholarship bump up from $0, and then another bump by using their official reconsideration process.

Does anyone at Texas Law have access to the past exam database and want to help out a fellow 1L?
I am looking for past exams for Constitutional Law taught by Professor Lawrence Sager.
Willing to return the favor for professors at UCLA!
