I feel like it's about to be grey day again where I'm too nervous to check my email and see the number.

received notification of my award letter sometime this week as well. shockingly low, such that I will likely have to take the $$$ elsewhere. very sad, as stanford was my dream when i started this crazy process. i just cant rationalize $6,000 in loan payments every month for 5 years after graduation, even for stanny

Does anyone know how the grading system at Stanford differs, in practice, from Harvard and Yale? Is Restricted Credit at Stanford essentially the same thing as LP at Harvard and Yale?

1. YLS: essentially H/P (no grades 1st semester)AnonHumanPerson123 wrote:Does anyone know how the grading system at Stanford differs, in practice, from Harvard and Yale? Is Restricted Credit at Stanford essentially the same thing as LP at Harvard and Yale?
2. SLS: essentially H/P
3. HLS: HH/H/P (very rarely is LP given out)

From what I've garnered, restricted credit =/= LP. It seems that a restricted credit is more akin to Harvard's F than it is to LP.hammy393 wrote:1. What's the link to check our financial aid? Is it just the welcome page? I haven't received an email but I want to check, just in case.

Finally received my financial aid package! I'm pretty happy with it.
PM if you want details. Best of luck to those who are dissatisfied with it and I hope you're able to negotiate!

To be clear, everyone received an email to their personal (e.g., gmail) email accounts when the financial aid offer was available, right? We don't have to be checking anything with our SLS login until we get the link to our personal emails?

I received an email from Financial Aid on Mar 22 telling me my award letter was ready. Then you have to sign into a portal called Axess to read it. You will need your SUNet ID to login.anonperson2017 wrote:+1 would love confirmation on this as well. I have decided that I'm going to ASW to see if I can convince myself that S is worth sticker over another T6 for free. We'll see how that goes haha, but I am looking forward to the trip regardless.
Can anyone remind me what we need to do to get the travel stip?

If this is not unique to you, could you post the link to Axess?mer2020 wrote: I received an email from Financial Aid on Mar 22 telling me my award letter was ready. Then you have to sign into a portal called Axess to read it. You will need your SUNet ID to login.

Yep, I'm interviewing for NYU's RTK this weekend and would really like to know financial aid info from Stanford before going into it. (fairly certain I would choose SLS over it, but definitely need to know about money to confirm)playersball wrote:Same here, really hoping for some info this week or at least before ASW next weekhammy393 wrote:Nope.
