Re: Duke Law Class of 2020
am I interpreting the 509 report correctly? It says the 75th percentile grant is $27K. Is that across three years or per year? seems weird since I'm so used to seeing everyone get 50-120K on TLS.

it's likely going to be in the mid 70s so I'd saychargers21 wrote:What kind of outfits/shoes are appropriate for the ASW?
dark jeans/khaki/chinos
polo/button up
some casual non-athletic shoes
maybe a light jacket for the morning
definitely wouldn't dress up tho
Duke said they'll send more info with dress code as ASD nears

Really sad I didn't get a shirt, when I applied to NU I figured I'd need a substantial scholly to get Duke to bat an eye, but now you gotta fight on your hands so how's about finding me a sweater

I've been obsessing over housing for months but I've just now immersed myself in Durham's food and shopping offerings... I am officially in love.proteinshake wrote:it doesn't feel real until you start researching apartments

yeah I hear it's great! I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want a single-person apartmentStephylynette wrote:I've been obsessing over housing for months but I've just now immersed myself in Durham's food and shopping offerings... A studio/1bed is basically all I'm looking at right now. I'll probably get a roommate for 2L and 3L to save money but I value my living space too much to risk rooming w/ someone I dont know during 1L. It'd definitely be cheaper though, which makes it tempting lolproteinshake wrote:yeah I hear it's great! yeah I think I'll do the same. I had dirty roommates and don't want that again (even though I love them haha).Stephylynette wrote:A studio/1bed is basically all I'm looking at right now. Putting down my deposit this week, super excited!! Between the different apartment complexes, where are people tending to gravitate? And does anyone know if there is a service to find roommates? I think I probably want to live with someone just because it's cheaper, but still worried about living with a total stranger.

I got a few people. I'm sure people have found me, there are are a few that have still alluded me though.chargers21 wrote:I may or may not have deciphered some TLSers real identitiesDr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:I can't be the only one stalking the FB admitted students page right?#creeper
Also is it weird to friend people from this site? Like I want to meet up with the active members of this thread, but if It's obvious who I am then how can I continue to shitpost?

I also don't think it's weird to friend request as long as you like let people know how you know them. And don't let anyone ever stop you from shitposting. Fulfill your destiny

Most of my shitposting I'm okay with people on here knowing it's me especially if they are a fellow shitposter.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:I got a few people. P.s. I think I know who you are on FB due to school/job. I'm the only person from my school on there I'm guessing so if a shrewd person looked through enough posts they could pinpoint me
Edit: one of the biggest reasons for my stalking was to see if I was going to look really young compared to everyone else, and to see if I was in a minority of people being from a less prestigious UG
