I submitted everything on time and did not receive a letter yesterday. Calling today just to double check.
EDIT: I feel super neurotic about this, but I called again and they said to email a request to their office to double check my file.

It did not work for me last year trying to negotiate with WUSTL, but it can't hurt to try. fwiw, I am really happy I didn't go last year.

Why didn't you go last year? Did you retake the LSAT, or just reapply?
NU is 120k more than WashU for me, and I'm having a hard time accepting either of those options.

I'm gonna assume that's a no. If anything, that would make it seem like (to me) you're not even really sure you want to be an attorney and therefore it would be a waste of my resources to offer you a better scholarship.

Really? This would be a live saver. I perhaps packed on a few pounds recently and am having a bit of a tough time fitting into my dress clothes
ETA: I'm really asking if jeans + a button downed shirt would be fine.

Also, my scholly info email said that the deposit was due on 04-14. I thought it was due on 04-21?

I am not super familiar with the area, but my impression is that we're not going to have a good time trying to find a place to sit around and talk in the area - it always just seems so crowded. a stop or two north might be easier?
Is everyone going to the musical friday night? I am probably not.

From acceptance letter: "noon CST on April 21, 2017 (unless otherwise specified by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid)."

After seeing the super unimpressive scholly offer from NU, I've become even more certain that I'll be depositing elsewhere so I'm not even gonna visit anymore.
Y'all have fun this week!

Damn, that's really disappointing. You seem like a really fun person. Well, best luck elsewhere!

There are plenty of fine establishments a short Uber ride away that we could plan to get together at after the musical, especially in the River North area.
