Figured you would have got me easy if you found out I was the one kid from Kansas. But yeah the most I talked to someone about online stuff was r/lawschooladmissions and LSN, not TLS yet.

Idk why people treat TLS like this real awkward lowkey thing lol.

lol. We have a reputation of being elitist and snobby and I guess some of us don't want people to know at ASWs that they are a TLSer because it might give them a bad image/first impression. On /r/lawschooladmissions you see some comments on there of people talking about TLS like it's a bad thing. I commented that I go on TLS and I got downvoted lol.

Unfortunately this is true. The few times I brought up TLS I was told about it's arrogance

/r/lawschooladmissions get so mad at TLS . I post there and give the same advice I would give here, and the comments are upvoted. But anytime there is a meta discussion about it they hate us.

I pretty much spoke like I've never been on TLS. like I would say "top schools" instead of T13/14 and stuff like that.

I caught myself doing this sometimes too. I like the anonymity the internet allows. I'm not ashamed of anything I say here but it's still nice that no one knows who I am.

That being said, if someone asked me if I was on here I would say yes so I guess part of it is also just the potential awkwardness of bringing it up.

Met a guy over the summer who was about to be a 2L at NYU. Found out almost towards the end of the summer that he was on TLS, never looked at him the same again lol. Idk his username though, but he said he was on here and I suspected that another one of us in that intern group was on here as well for his T14/T13 or bust attitude
