Have people been emailing them this week? I feel weird emailing before I know what their first offer is...for all I know it's higher than what I'm asking for, but I also don't want to lose out!WordsworthIsBae wrote:I feel stupid for waiting to hear back for their offer before submitting my other offers. Well, my mail came today and no financial aid. Mail usually takes 1-2 days to get to my house in NJ from NYC so don't get your hopes up for today, everyone.

When did you submit your info? I live in NYC so now I want to get home from work and check my mail ASAP...IlovePorzingis wrote:Well, my mail came today and no financial aid. Mail usually takes 1-2 days to get to my house in NJ from NYC so don't get your hopes up for today, everyone.

Had the exact same dilemma last night, and for the same reason, I chose to hold off on emailing my other offers. I was told by the fin aid staff member on the phone that it's my choice whether I'd like to hold off and see what they're offering first or if I'd like to go ahead and send my other offers right away.catalina559 wrote:Have people been emailing them this week? I talked to someone at the FAO on Monday and she said my submission was in the final stage of review, and I only sent in my materials a week ago. I think they're probably sending out packages soon.

I called yesterday and was told I would receive the letter within a week. (I submitted everything on 3/10, a couple of days after getting in.)

This could be obvious, but do I email all of the required documents directly to financial aid or is there another place to submit them? I just got admitted so I want to try to get everything out as quickly as possible before I miss the boat on any aid
. Thanks!!

I am extremely anxious to see what I get. If I could have a year tuition knocked off I would deposit within the hour.

PDF attachments in one neat email to their financial aid email address.parcori wrote:This could be obvious, but do I email all of the required documents directly to financial aid or is there another place to submit them? Just a caveat, they caution against sending tax docs with your SSN via email, and recommend you fax those. You can email everything else, though.parcori wrote:Thats what I thought! Good point. If you don't have access to a fax machine, you should redact SSNs (through Acrobat or go old school with a black sharpie and re-scan) and email them like that.Stay-at-Home Son wrote:Just a caveat, they caution against sending tax docs with your SSN via email, and recommend you fax those. Oh really? I just heard "leave a message" then hanged up. Haha. I don't think they would call me back because I just will ask whether my decision has been sent out. Will try tomorrow. Thanks.catalina559 wrote:You just have to stay on the line long enough, or press 0!hellohalo wrote:Called them and its a recorded response...
