There might be some people who visited or something but I'd also try asking in the Ask a Law Student thread and seeing if they have some answers.Keilz wrote:Lol just wondering if anyone's visited or is familiar with the school!brinicolec wrote:This is a good question but I think we're the wrong people to ask lolKeilz wrote:What's the northwestern student culture like? Just hopped around half a dozen bars in the area. All awful. I have no suggestions.brinicolec wrote:If people are actually interested in having one/someone wants to suggest a good location, sure! I don't know what you mean by "good", but there are a lot of decent bars in river north. It isn't the party central that Lincoln park or wrigleyville is, but you can definitely find drinks.brinicolec wrote:guybourdin wrote:Just hopped around half a dozen bars in the area. All awful. The reputation is the culture is more professional than the typical law school as the students are older and have been in the workforce a number of years. Those looking for the normal college environment may be disappointed.Keilz wrote:Lol just wondering if anyone's visited or is familiar with the school!brinicolec wrote:This is a good question but I think we're the wrong people to ask lolKeilz wrote:What's the northwestern student culture like? I know this isn't a big deal but did anyone not get their admissions packet? I get in early February and still haven't got anything.

+3, it is actually fairly annoying. I know it doesn't matter ultimately, but how difficult is it to mail a few hundred packets?2000andBeyond wrote:+2llm614 wrote:+1guybourdin wrote:I haven't and I was accepted Jan 31.notsolawful wrote:I know this isn't a big deal but did anyone not get their admissions packet? Well, looks like I've got a law school themed vacation to Chicago coming up. See you all at ASW.
Also my boss is starting to wonder why I'm burning my vacation hours at an uncharacteristically fast clip so early in the year. Technically "it'd be a shame to have three weeks left over in November again" is accurate.
