I'm still working on that. I didn't think I would need to look for anything in a woman, so one day at a time. Enjoying my kinks, not eating meat, not smoking cigs, and loving animals are all a good start, though.

I feel like we need to not have more AMAs. It was fun for a day. I enjoy these mini-AMA breaks mid-thread, though.

I feel like Amta really killed this thread with that popularity contest, but I've yet to attribute any malice to his actions. History may prove he did, in fact, have bad intentions and wanted this thread to fall off, leaving us all alone without a place to turn during the year and all our grades will be the worse for it, but I don't want to assume anything just yet. Taking on one of these threads is a big responsibility and it's hard sometimes. There's no manual, there's no one helping us, and we've just gotta do the best we can. I think Amta can turn it around and prove to be a wonderful OP, and that's really all we can ask for. I don't understand why people dip, but I have some weird habits too I guess, so judge lest, right?

additionally, i prefer this thread falling off because waiters choose to post in the lounge instead of here. so as long as the waiters are transitioning to the lounge, don't count on me to try and Lazarus effect this thread. furthermore, TLS always hits a summer lull, especially for 0Ls who are traveling and quitting jobs, etc. also see: the fb group that has really slowed down.

what im getting at is that you would be hard pressed to make a convincing case that i contributed to this thread's sluggish nature.

so, I'll just say: you know this is bullshit. This thread is analogous to the He1Lo thread in name only. This was, for a time, the default 0L hang out thread, which He1Lo was not. That honor goes to last years senioritous thread, which has 5x as many pages as this thread. This years senioritous thread was only started about a month ago and is very much an on topic more or less strictly talking about actually having senioritous. So, cmon, don't try to pull some shaky bullshit like that on me. please. It's a very shallow defense and no one is going to buy it.

Otherwise, I'm fine with your assertions that tls has a summer lull and a lot of waders are learning to swim in the deep scary lounge. I would guess that if you compared the number of posts pre- and post- popularity contest itt and on tls overall, the posts in this thread have taken a dive, but you're right I can't prove you killed it.

That said, I do see a benefit, if only a small one, for us to have a thread where we can post about our year and is really only populated by those who are going through the same struggles. That is supposed to be this thread, right? Doesn't matter who killed it, or who revives it (I guess), but I'd like for it to be around. I guess I could try to make friends IRL, but, like...

okay, so my argument by analogy is flawed. but all the other 0L threads have also slowed. see the applicants thread, the destinations thread, the individual class threads. additionally the facebook group has slowed. most of the regular posters who are waiters now post exclusively post in the lounge (i.e. lawkid, chargers, bwaldorf, chandhi, yourself, etc.), and the more infrequent waiters have fallen off completely.

i will say that my goal for this thread is to eventually get it lounged because it is so active and off-topic, but that can take time and dedication from a committed group. i am open to suggestions on how to achieve that.

and I will grant all of your points, but I'm not sure getting this thread lounged in the right idea. Where am I supposed to post when I have a question about general 1L bs that I want to direct only to people who are going through the same things? I thought that was here. If it's somewhere else, that's fine too, but I think it should be somewhere, right?

getting lounged is a natural step in a successful OT thread's life cycle. see the 4L and 5L threads currently in the lounge.

i mean this thread will always be for our class, even post grad, and i won't ever take the resources section out of the OP. but the mods will lounge very active OT threads because they are constantly at the top of the page. it's just the natural progression of TLS.

btw, what auto immune disease if you don't mind me asking? I have one that gives me a likelihood of heart disease, not sure if it also makes me likely to have cancer. Family history of diabetes and cancer wasn't enough for me, apparently
