i agree, but i feel like 99th percentile is still something. especially if you're in the midwest where the ACT is more popular.Hikikomorist wrote:ACT doesn't count, though.amta wrote:fucking Einstein amongst usguybourdin wrote: I didn't take it for real, but I got a 32 on the act (which was top 1% at the time)

I walloped the salutdictorian (I sat next to her in math the year we did the SAT so she told me her score). I half assed everything in high school. Still half assing everything, actually.amta wrote:only 300 points higher than my SAT!!!Rigo wrote:Only 1980, but didn't studyamta wrote:rigo, what was your SAT?Rigo wrote: mmmhmm

Top 1% in my high school isn't really saying much imo. I'm psyched about my LSAT score! My act got me to the same middling college a 25 would have, though. Meh. I'm so sad when I think about college!amta wrote:i agree, but i feel like 99th percentile is still something. especially if you're in the midwest where the ACT is more popular.Hikikomorist wrote:ACT doesn't count, though.amta wrote:fucking Einstein amongst usguybourdin wrote: I didn't take it for real, but I got a 32 on the act (which was top 1% at the time)

Smart enough to get into law school but not smart enough not to go. Right around 10% seems about right.Rigo wrote:We all top 10% in smarts probably, so pats on pats on pats on the back.

Technically not a c&f issue if it's in Mexico, right?chandhi wrote:I'm already planning to rack up some C&F issues that nightguybourdin wrote:The post-bar tls 2020 party is going to be wild.chandhi wrote: now i only get intoxicated AFTER life-changing tests

I don't remember my SAT score but it was in them 1600 days and I was basically in the 50th percentile so nothing to write home about/hate myself for (which is funny because if I scored in the 50% for LSAT I'd definitely hate myself for it).

I took it when I was 13 too! I didn't understand why that program existed but I felt special. I got like a 1500/2400, which was the national average.guybourdin wrote:I took the sat when I was 13... I'm not naturally good at standardized tests. While I didn't put nearly as much pressure or dedication as I did for the lsat, I did some practice for the real thing in HS. my highest for all of the categories (scored the same on all) was 680.

Legitimately feel bad for everyone who took these tests so young. Y'all had to worry about this shit when you were barely hitting puberty

Re: Down the rabbit h0Le - TLS C/O 2020 Thread [New Poll]
eh, standardized tests were all we did. If I got anything out of middle/high school, it was taking a standardized test. I didn't study for the ACT at all, I didn't worry about it or know what it was. I assumed it was just like a test to get to know things about you and you would score whatever you would score. I think its crazy when people say they think that about the LSAT, but that's because they're 20-22+. I still think that's reasonable for a 13 year old to think.chandhi wrote:Legitimately feel bad for everyone who took these tests so young. My middle school had all honors students take it so it wasn't too much pressure. It was for Duke TIP, I think, and I got in. So it was worth it!chandhi wrote:Legitimately feel bad for everyone who took these tests so young. Y'all had to worry about this shit when you were barely hitting puberty

They were about the same. Every standardized test I've ever taken has felt pretty much identical to every other one.Monday wrote:The SAT was much more fun than the LSAT.
