i agree, but i feel like 99th percentile is still something. especially if you're in the midwest where the ACT is more popular.

honestly gave zero fucks back in SAT days. took the thing with absolutely no prep and was also hungover.

Good thing it's an aptitude test.

Yeah, I had a friend take it without sleep while hungover and score 2350.

I walloped the salutdictorian (I sat next to her in math the year we did the SAT so she told me her score). I half assed everything in high school. Still half assing everything, actually.

Top 1% in my high school isn't really saying much imo. I'm psyched about my LSAT score! My act got me to the same middling college a 25 would have,though. Meh. I'm so sad when I think about college!

I don't remember my SAT score but it was in them 1600 days and I was basically in the 50th percentile so nothing to write home about/hate myself for (which is funny because if I scored in the 50% for LSAT I'd definitely hate myself for it).

I took the sat when I was 13... Did not do great! Low 1300s I think (when it was on the 1600 scale/only 2 sections). NOW can I tell you my ACT score? Lol

I took it when I was 13 too! I didn't understand why that program existed but I felt special. I got like a 1500/2400, which was the national average.

I'm not naturally good at standardized tests. While I didn't put nearly as much pressure or dedication as I did for the lsat, I did some practice for the real thing in HS. my highest for all of the categories (scored the same on all) was 680.

eh, standardized tests were all we did. If I got anything out of middle/high school, it was taking a standardized test. I didn't study for the ACT at all, I didn't worry about it or know what it was. I assumed it was just like a test to get to know things about you and you would score whatever you would score. I think its crazy when people say they think that about the LSAT, but that's because they're 20-22+. I still think that's reasonable for a 13 year old to think.

My middle school had all honors students take it so it wasn't too much pressure. It was for Duke TIP, I think, and I got in. So it was worth it!

The SAT was much more fun than the LSAT.

They were about the same. Every standardized test I've ever taken has felt pretty much identical to every other one.
