Gracias, 95% of TLS success is based on avatar. The other 5% is not breaking down into an existential crisis post in front of everyone. (Which is hard considering all the opportunities to break down a legal field and legal education process supplies us with.)

I mean, if you're comfortable having your identity on here tied to your irl identity, that's great, but not everyone is. People say things on here or share things about themselves that they might not be comfortable having randoms irl knowing, especially if it might have an effect on their professional life down the road (I have friends who have had their internet personas revealed to potential employers by vengeful classmates and whatnot - you just never know). Everyone has a different tolerance / comfort level for that sort of thing, and it might not be the same as yours.

It's just a matter of respect and not being a shitty person. If you don't know 100% whether someone's cool with being outed, don't fucking out them or go trying to figure out who they are.
