Meh, I'm cheap and willing to wait it out. Looking through last year's thread it seems like they gave out assignments pretty late as well.

Well, worst case scenario--I booked a 3 bedroom airbnb 3 blocks from campus (since I'm leaving Saturday it actually came out to about the same price as a single night at the Mariott Chicago recommends). Anyways, I don't really think I need three rooms, and I'd gladly share the cost with someone. Two bedrooms for the price of one.

They do send out the assignments after the deadline to sign up (which was yesterday) because they depend on how many people sign up.

Info about the ASW came through that email including info about hosts and then I got a personal follow up from my host. The original email says your host should contact you soon, but if no one does by tomorrow you should email the class20 email!

You're supposed to e-mail the finaid office in order to gain access to the form. You can find more detailed instructions on the ASW. Best of luck!
