We can make secret plans to build the ultimate study group and get the As. And drink beer.
I would be up for drinking beer with my fellow Oakland 1Ls...probably no secret plans, though? I am leaning towards just having a study group at the end to take practice exams with and review answers.

1Ls tend to be wound up. Try and relax people :) Remember law school is just a portion of our lives!

Can I just say real quick... I like Hastings. I wasn't sure, even when I decided to go to Hastings, but the IL class is made up of some really great people for the most part, and I'm really excited to study with you people. A guy in the mock class was even gunning his ass off today already. I can feel it, guys! We're in law school!

I agree. I have had a lot of fun meeting all of the new people, so far, and have found that many people were eager to participate in class yesterday.

Does anyone know if I can put a deposit down for a tower apartment even though I haven’t accepted Hastings’ offer yet? I want to make sure I have a place set up in case I don’t get into my TC

I think you need to commit first. If you do so early, you will get an apartment.
