I have, too, but I haven't seen the other three. I'll probably just watch them in that order. The Abyss wrote:I've only seen Rogue Nation and enjoyed it.BirdLawExpert wrote:I got a bunch of movies on redbox to kill time tonight. Help me choose:

As someone who often works past 8:00pm PST, the drop-off of activity in this thread towards the end of the day always makes me lonely
I may well be one of those lucky souls who actually has more free time during law school haha... haha... ha...

My God, I had not been looking for an -itis thread because I kept faking life and pretending I was all "it's too early to check out and wait for law school". The truth is I found this last night before bed and have now read every post on my way to work. God bless you all...

Nothing like a little romantic Ice Cube to kick off the night.jnwa wrote:Should be 2 additional votes for sexing in the poll.ugg wrote:we are perfect together and LIVE in the SAME location i meandavey jones wrote:just so youre all in the know ugg and birdlaw are a couple now

The encouragement of checking out is surrounding me like a snuggie right now as I look over my day's workload. I have been the most despicable lurker in the months since I joined TLS (as can be seen from my post history) but this thread shall set me free I'm sure.thelostweasley wrote:Checking out is encouraged here.Dawg57 wrote:My God, I had not been looking for an -itis thread because I kept faking life and pretending I was all "it's too early to check out and wait for law school". Missing class today as I'm off to DC for my first ASD tomorrow! Good thing too because I didn't get a tenth of the way through the book we were supposed to read

Real talk, Straight Outta Compton was excellent. Very surprised Jason Mitchell didn't get a nomination for his portrayal of Easy-E.James.K.Polk wrote:Nothing like a little romantic Ice Cube to kick off the night.jnwa wrote:Should be 2 additional votes for sexing in the poll.ugg wrote:we are perfect together and LIVE in the SAME location i meandavey jones wrote:just so youre all in the know ugg and birdlaw are a couple now

Well, this felt like a window into a PM convo for just a minute or two... What a low key but epic moment we all just witnessed with the planned meet up. ha

You should grab lunch at West Wing Cafe at some point while you're on campus. It's only a few blocks away, and while it isn't the West Wing-themed restaurant I dreamed it would be the sandwiches are pretty great for the price. Tell Andy I said hey and also to offer me a full-ride.jumbo2016 wrote:Missing class today as I'm off to DC for my first ASD tomorrow! I creeped on your posts and saw that you're going to Tennessee. At this point I would like to take the opportunity to warn you against dating a crazy girl I went on a blind date with who is a 1L there. And tell you to absolutely eat/drink at the Stock and Barrel as often as humanly possible because I still have dreams about their chicken and waffles burger.Dawg57 wrote:Well, this felt like a window into a PM convo for just a minute or two... I am not discreet - my very few posts lay that out quickly. I have made no commitments but UTK is a likely destination. Thank you for the advice, without laying out my life story... I actually went to undergrad in the general region and am very familiar with East TN having its fair share of crazies. Also, the Stock and Barrel is close to my heart, you speak eternal truths about their food. That burger is amazing, and I should know because I grew up within a short drive of Gladys Knight's C&W...BirdLawExpert wrote:I creeped on your posts and saw that you're going to Tennessee. Also, I am engaged so luckily I do not have to partake in any real concerns about the dating seen. However, my interest is peaked about any crazy potential future classmate

I'll be sure to do that right after I talk him into giving me a full ride. And then when we are wildly successful and debt free we can use our big law money to start an actual west wing themed restaurant. First item on the menu "Josh Lemon Lyman soda"
Sidenote: lady sitting next to me at the gate just left her bags and walked away
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
