if I weren't going on vacation I would work another week too, but since I am I can't justify not giving myself a week b4 I leave... but I got my phone bill coming up, the law school tailgates all the home football games which is another $55 that they want paid sooner than later if your doing it and my buddies wedding...(along with a few hundred on my cc) I feel so poor its depressing

Yesssssss!Smallville wrote:Last Monday 29thers!!
Today is the first day that my teammates have taken over sending out my Monday morning reports to clients and it has been a shitshow so far. I've just been leaning back in my chair laughing in a derisive, Meryl Streep-ish way.

Nice!! Everyone in my class of 2019 FB group keeps asking about schedules and sections and how to set up direct deposit and stuff, meanwhile the orientation director is all "follow us on Instagram - we post pretty pictures of trees!"Smallville wrote:just got schedule, shiz getting real

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-ioritis
haha yeah I didnt think we were getting it for a bit still but nope, we don't have sections, but everyone has the same schedule, just 3 diff prof for each class that everyone is split into + LWR which has a few diff time slots and the only spot schedules seem to vary a little. I think I like the schedule but not sure. MTR we have a gap from about noon to 3:30(2 classes b4 gap), 1 class 11-12:20 wed and 2 classes 9:40-12:20 fricapricasixx wrote:Nice!! I have been a recluse as of late for similar reasons... My apologies for not responding sooner.Hildegard15 wrote:Now that I have enough distance from the tournament that the emotional heartbreak has lessened, what do you think about the final for the Euros? I think it's interesting how a lot of the commentators were upset about how Portugal won the tournament by playing "bad football." Personally, I'm of the school of thought that you do what you can to win as long as it doesn't involve outright cheating (looking at you, Suarez). I do think it's disappointing that Portugal had such an "easy" run to the final, but they couldn't control that. It's tough to come out of a tournament where I think objectively speaking, the best team didn't win. But props to Portugal for getting it done in crunch time.Oskosh wrote:
I think this was one of the whackiest, most bizarre European tournaments ever. From Iceland stunning an admittedly hollow English national team, to Wales making it all the way to the semifinals -- this tournament had it all. I, too, think that Portugal had an easy run to the finals, but the game that they played in the games that they did was efficient enough to secure them the championship. However, I don't think that Portugal winning the tournament accurately reflects Europe's best team. France had a very crappy game, Pogba played like crap, and teams like Italy and Germany were eliminated when they shouldn't have been (in particular, Germany outplayed France in the 1st half of the semifinals, and it wasn't until the ill-fated penalty that they came undone). It was just a strange tournament, but I am content with Portugal winning (I had a chip on my shoulder because of that France defeat).

Woo hoo! Checking in...last day is 8/5. I am training my replacement and telling my clients gently. It is a mixed bag of emotions. I am eagerly awaiting my schedule (should be next week), which will make it more real.

So close to my last day. I'm done next Wednesday. Lucky enough not to have to train my replacement so I'm just wrapping things up and coasting until then.
