I emailed on Sunday about a last-minute bump in my merit-based aid. Should I get at them today, or is it unreasonable to expect something this soon?

I emailed on Tuesday doing the same thing. Got a rejection on Thursday. Although if they're taking longer then maybe they're considering it?

Didn't hear anything today... Assuming they're closed tomorrow too. Didn't even get a confirmation email like I did the first time round reaching out to them about scholarships

Is anyone having trouble with their admitted students website/worried their enrollment decision didn't go through? I sent in my deposit and everything earlier this week and my homepage showed 6 new tasks afterwards that day. But now when I log in, it's back to 3 incomplete tasks with "Enroll" as one of them...

I'm in a similar boat miniosunite...I deposited on Thursday and received a receipt for the deposit, but I haven't seen any other confirmation come through, and now can't access the admitted students website.

Did others receive additional emails / confirmations after depositing? I sent an email to admissions to build a paper trail in case something went wrong, not sure what else can be done on a Saturday

I haven't received any additional emails/confirmation other than the receipt from cybersource either. I'm pretty sure we won't be hearing anything from admissions until Monday but hopefully the deposit receipt is enough to make a case if there are any problems.

Also, to the peeps above, no need to stress about that! As long as you got the receipt your deposit definitely went through. Same shit is happening with their website for me too.

Gah, I was hoping to spend this weekend applying for housing and everything. I'm just glad I submitted my deposit before the "technical difficulties"

You can totes still apply for housing! It is through a different website. The only thing you can't really do is sign up for Lawnet, but I don't think that matters much plus people who deposited a while ago still can't do that either (to my knowledge).

Says in the financial aid offer email to "inform us in writing by May 1 of your decision to accept this award and our offer of admission" - do I just go through the ASW and deposit as usual or do I have to email them as well to accept the cash?

I had the same question for a admissions guy on the phone, and he said that it was officially a different office, but that he assumed that it was just accepting admissions, and the money was automatic.

Okay thanks.. so ya deposited. Anyone have the lowdown on housing? What the buildings are like (MOLDY? I don't do moldy), types of arrangements, distances from campus etc

However, every current student I talked to at ASW said that UAH housing is cheaper than law school only housing, so you might want to consider that! You don't have to rank the buildings then, and if you select "no" for law school housing, you'll see that the price options under Housing Type/Max Rent start significantly lower than they do for law housing.

What exactly is the difference between UAH housing and law school only housing?

So UAH housing is for all graduate students, not just law students. The apartments also tend to be a little further from the law school, granted that everything is within a 10 block radius (except The Arbor, which is family housing). UAH apartments are also cheaper on average than law school only housing.
