Just send them an email! They should then send you an interim form to fill up which indicates that you will submit the transcripts at a later date.cdotson2 wrote:anybody else having problems getting in all their paperwork by the 15th? just found out my University is still confirming degrees, so I wont be able to get my official transcript with degree-date in on time. k-jd probs.... how big of a problem is this triptrip?

Just email the admissions office. They're not going to un-admit you because your undergrad is slow.cdotson2 wrote:anybody else having problems getting in all their paperwork by the 15th? just found out my University is still confirming degrees, so I wont be able to get my official transcript with degree-date in on time. k-jd probs.... how big of a problem is this triptrip?

Re: Harvard C/O 2019
Hi all,
I'm a rising 2L with some leads on housing in the $1250-1500/person range, all of which are within a block or two of the law school (primarily 2-bedroom places). I'm in contact with some Cambridge brokers, but I'm finding it's hard to pull the trigger without having roommates lined up.
I'll be able to have places physically checked out if you're not going to be in town before moving here. Flexible on move-in dates.
No gender preference, and LGBTQ-friendly. Hoping to find roommates who are reasonably clean, quiet, and respectful. I'm a non-smoker without pets, and I'm into making music and playing board games.
If your housing/roommate preferences seem to line up with mine, please shoot me a PM and we can figure out if we're a good match!

For those who submitted the immunization forms,
do you also have "non-compliant" listed under the immunizations tab of patient portal?
I'm a bit confused as I believe I met all the requirements...
I'm wondering if it just takes time or if I should be contacting the health services.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019
My doctor filled out and faxed the forms to HLS a little under a week ago and as of yesterday it was still showing "non-compliant" in patient portal for me. It probably just takes a while for them to process and update them.jb1512 wrote:For those who submitted the immunization forms,

I submitted mine last week, but I'm still listed as non-compliant. However it says it hasn't been updated since 6/10, so I'm hoping they do another update today or tomorrow.jb1512 wrote:For those who submitted the immunization forms,

Received this message from HUHS administrative assistant after e-mailing about something else:jb1512 wrote:For those who submitted the immunization forms,

"Thanks for your message. If you're an incoming student to the Law School, please note that I'm currently reviewing forms received from hundreds of incoming Harvard University students. If you have submitted forms via the upload feature of the patient portal or faxed forms please allow us at least three weeks to review and update your compliance status."
I would not sweat it and would not call anytime soon.

Does anyone know if we can get enrollment verifications yet, or do we need to wait until later in the summer? I need to send proof of insurance to HLS to get a waiver, but I need to send proof that I'm an HLS student to the insurance company to maintain coverage.

How official does it need to be? I submitted the email confirmation of my intent to enroll as proof for my apartment.mollywood wrote:Does anyone know if we can get enrollment verifications yet, or do we need to wait until later in the summer? To follow up re: immunizations: I just received a message today in the patient portal saying that they reviewed my immunization history and that I am compliant, and I am now listed as such under the immunizations tab of the portal. Seems like it just takes some time to get through so many, no sweat. Hope you guys are having a great summer.

They gave me one no problem. It was on official letterhead and said that I had deposited and was anticipated to attend this fall. Also I'm going to switch the poll up to get a sense of where people are going to be living (idea credit to the venerable lawstud24 from a few pages back).
I need ideas on poll choices though because I am not that familiar with all the choices. Current thoughts are:
Gropius (are there other dorms that should be an option?)
University owned apartment (once again, should I break that down into more options, i.e. specific apartment buildings? (and if so, which?))
Off-campus apartment (suggestions for neighborhood options would be helpful)
I have no idea yet, pls send help
cardboard box (given Boston's exorbitant rent)

Given the applicants' thread, can we have a hilde related option?

Re: Harvard C/O 2019
For off-campus apartments, you could just base them off the squares, since that's where housing will cluster around (Somerville squares, so Porter or Davis; Cambridge squares, so Harvard or Central).QuentonCassidy wrote:Also I'm going to switch the poll up to get a sense of where people are going to be living (idea credit to the venerable lawstud24 from a few pages back).

You'll never be able to capture everything, but that might be a good way to do it.

Dorms are Gropius, Hastings, and North Hall.QuentonCassidy wrote:Also I'm going to switch the poll up to get a sense of where people are going to be living (idea credit to the venerable lawstud24 from a few pages back).

The most popular university apartment buildings are Terry Terrace and 29 Garden. There are plenty of others; I've just drank more in those than anywhere else so they're at the top of my list.
Neighborhoods you could include:
- Lesley JK HARVARD (Southeast of North Hall)
- An impossibly illegal building in Somerville
- I-wanted-29-Garden-but-instead-I-live-here (Garden Street area)
- I don't go to parties or meet people because I have a commute (anywhere that isn't Cambridge or Somerville)
- I like free food (undergrad dorm parent)
- I like walking and cheaper rent (Central square)

I think there are enough 1Ls living in North and Hastings that those should be included.QuentonCassidy wrote: I need ideas on poll choices though because I am not that familiar with all the choices. Current thoughts are:

Good idea QC!
