Italy will prevail! Gigi Buffon is bae. Though right now I've hopped on the Wales train and plan on riding that as far as it will take me. Most likely that glorious run will end when Belgium takes them on in the quarters. All the European heavy hitters seem to be on the same side of the bracket this year. What a crazy tournament. I love it!!
Seriously how old is Buffon? It's REMARKABLE he's still in good form.

RIGHT?!! I think he's 38, and he's shooting to be the first player ever to get called up for 6 World Cups. And considering how amazing he still is, I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to do it.

Happy Monday Y'all!! I know it's not popular to be so excited for Monday, but today is my LAST MONDAY! This is my last week of 'work' and I'm pretty stoked on it!

Yeah...I use the term 'work' extremely loosely as well. I've pretty well told my bosses not to expect a whole fucking lot.

It certainly doesn't. When I tell people, 'hey it's my last week!' they give me this weird look, as if they're thinking 'already? damn!'

Why do you have to wait until friday?? Why not turn it in and just give them more time?

Because I settled on a month as just enough time to transition my clients, but not enough time that they would decide to just let me go immediately. They probably wouldn't anyway but I'm paranoid. So it's semi-arbitrary but I want to stick to it.

Looks like it's Germany against Italy in the quarterfinals. Yikes!

If Gigi Buffon doesn't play in the next World Cup, I will be devastated.

Italy has had the hardest go of it so far this tournament. Looks like we have to pass through yet another ring of fire. The game with Germany is gonna be insane

He is our national treasure. A more Italian man you will not meet. Before the game with Spain they did a "Gigi Buffon highlights reel and one was, I kid you not, him winking at someone, in slow motion no less. My sister turned to me and said "he's almost too Italian".
