Wars of aggression/war-mongering is bad. On the part of the state it violates the fiduciary duty to protect the natural rights of the citizens by treating them as means to an end they cannot rationally endorse, and on behalf of the individual it violates the fiduciary duty to treat oneself as a free agent by denying equal status to those around you, thereby logically condoning them to do the same to you.Smallville wrote:lets have a war about starting a wardarkchildnana wrote:can we start another war in here? work is getting v boring

What's up, guys!? I am two weeks deep into 1L, and I just wanted to tell you guys to enjoy the time off (if you have any). I am buried in reading, and I find myself wishing that I'd spent less time wishing my lazy days away! Carry on if you're working though. Work DEFINITELY sucks way more than 1L ever could!

I am taking two doctrinal courses - Torts and Civ Pro - and ungraded legal writing. Needless to say I am happy for the slightly slower start!Nachoo2019 wrote:This is interesting!GFox345 wrote:What's up, guys!? Seriously! I have even heard that if you read and study as much as possible and spend as much time as possible in the library your first few weeks you can usually cruise right through finals with minimal workload just fine!!!BirdLawExpert wrote:Fox get off tls and go study or something cmon you gotta work way too hard your first few weeks of law school everyone knows that.GFox345 wrote:Nachoo2019 wrote:This is interesting!GFox345 wrote:What's up, guys!? Packing for a trip to Austin and I'm always just terrible at estimating how many shirts to pack for a given number of days.

It's funny that you should bring up practice exams. My torts professor is giving us a practice exam in class on Monday. He insists it is just to give us an idea of what to expect on an exam, but I am sure that my classmates and I will all proceed to make inferences about our entire careers based on the results.Nachoo2019 wrote:Seriously! That actually sounds like you have a good professor. At least you will know what to expect from them come exam time
