They canceled the free lunch we were supposed to have today, because of course they did. Can work be over yet?

I spend more time fantasizing about winning the lottery than I do actually working.Bearlyalive wrote:Currently daydreaming about a parallel universe in which I have a trust fund and just slacked off instead of workin in the 9 months between submitting my applications and starting school again.

So everyone is always posting how many days they have left of work and I have been able to stop myself from doing so until now. And now I feel even worse.

For some reason I agreed to push back when I leave work to 2 days before I move. More money but feeling pretty meh about that decision. 72 days.

Yeah i am literally in same boat. Extra cash will be nice, but just chilling for a few weeks also sounds pretty greatThe Abyss wrote:For some reason I agreed to push back when I leave work to 2 days before I move. More money but feeling pretty meh about that decision. 72 days.

I get 2 weeks to roam my new city before orientation so it's not that bad.Nachoo2019 wrote:Right there with you. Not making money for the rest of the summer is damn terrifying but other than that, yeah. It's pretty awesome.Smallville wrote:omg, lucky!SlithyTove wrote:19 days!!!

Finally picked an official end date! I need to find a sublet the first week of August for my last week of work, if anyone in NYC knows of someone who isn't an axe murderer or in Staten Island and has a couch I could sleep on.

Just got into the office (about 9:45 pacific) and I'm planning to leave at 3:00 so I can go see my little sister play bass in her school concert. Subtract an hour for lunch and I only have to be here about 4 hours and 15 minutes. That still feels like way too long.

Ugh, that is terrible. I absolutely hate it when I spend a few hours doing an assignment or project for an attorney, only for them to never look at it or use itthelostweasley wrote:Spent my entire morning making copies and putting together a trial notebook for a meeting this afternoon and the attorney decides to go home "sick"
