I was born on an Air Force Base in the middle of a desert and raised in Texas by a military pilot and a schoolteacher in a Cajun/Irish/German family. The only way my origins could be more patriotic is if I was named after a President.capricasixx wrote:I'm disappointed in you.BirdLawExpert wrote:Uh...what...no...I mean...75 freedom degrees.capricasixx wrote:Celsius?BirdLawExpert wrote:I spent the past hour gutting my six month old computer and installing entirely new fans since I've been having overheating issues that have been causing total system failures. This is where I would post a photo of me in my flight suit if I could find one on the new computer.capricasixx wrote:

It is weird to be on the east coast vs. west and not wake up to a flurry of TLS activity. I feel all out of sorts!

I think, in honor of Super Tuesday, we should get a new poll about what we want the new poll to be; a primary poll, if you will.

Back in the office today and all of my laziness is now coming back to haunt me........
Also the fact that I'm out of the office for like, half of this month.

I have to do my actual job today. Help me.
Also I'm going to LA tomorrow for a business meeting and we're taking the clients out to dinner A BLOCK from Loyola where I'm WL. Think I can escape to go beg the dean?

100% do it. Just make an appointment and be like, "Look Dean, I've got a sweet job that I have to get back to. I'd love to come to your school, but if it doesn't work out I can always just go to Chapman or Pepperdine. I don't want to, I'd rather come here, but their offers are already on the table, and it's not a very big table."capricasixx wrote:I have to do my actual job today. Help me.

Or just introduce yourself and be cool. I prefer vague ultimatums.

I would legit have to take a suspiciously long bathroom break and get in an uber to pull that off. My plane lands at 9am, I'm in meetings from 10am-4pm, then we're taking the clients to dinner and I'm back on a plane at 8pm. BLARGBirdLawExpert wrote:100% do it. Idk what possessed me people but I did not check in here all day. I just voted though, and voting brought back my red blooded Americanism and here I am, impulse checking my status checker and this thread once again. Hoorah!

I knocked on way too many doors today. Turns out if you have a beard people will assume that you speak Spanish. I had to explain to like 50% of the households I spoke with that I wasn't from Monterrey before they would talk about the candidate.capricasixx wrote:BirdLawExpert wrote:Bernie thanks you for your support.Dawg57 wrote:Idk what possessed me people but I did not check in here all day.
