Received a pretty generous merit aid offer today. I was floored as I was expecting a polite email with no merit aid. Good lord the decisions aren't ever easy, are they?

Does anyone know if GULC merit scholarships are specified specifically for tuition?

I remember reading in an e-mail that as long as it is post marked before the deadline you're OK.

This deadline has really crept up on me, I need to get on that Dean's Certification form statthelincolnlawyer wrote:I just put my tuition deposit form and check in the mail this morning and am still working with my undergrad to get the Dean's Certification form done (it should be in the mail by Friday at the latest). Should I email the hotline and let them know that these things are on the way since Monday is the supposed deadline (I'm not sure how lenient they are)?

Well, crap. I didn't even know about the Dean's Certification thing until just now.
I've seen it mentioned elsewhere on TLS.com that GULC requires the form from students "who send a seat deposit." With my deposits being waived, am I required to send it in anyway?

We need to send a copy of our undergrad transcript as well? Hm. I should've been more on top of these things.thelincolnlawyer wrote:Yeah, check under deadlines on the admitted students site. Again, I'm sure these aren't hard deadlines, but I'd still try to get working on it ASAP. The person in the records office at my undergrad is out of the office today so I won't be able to get mine in the mail until tomorrow at the earliest (if she gets to it).gazorpazorp wrote:Well, crap. Now I need to figure out how to get my immunization form done by July 1.
Are we supposed to have this stuff sent via snail mail? My school's process for obtaining documents and/or sending them through the registrar is pretty darn impersonal and electronically-based -- no clue what I'm gonna write for where they want to know the exact "name" & "title" of the official signing the document.

You can also pay online via myaccess using "e-check". It looks like you just need to enter the information on your physical check, but I didn't complete the online transaction steps so I can't verify that is all you need.daisrt wrote:Are we not able to pay our deposit by credit card?

Awesome, thanks. Also, anyone know if we can at least pay the regular tuition via credit card?thelincolnlawyer wrote:Yeah forgot to mention this as well. They just emailed me back and said they will accept the official transcript and Dean's Certification after the deadline. Seems like they mainly care about the $ being on time.

Does anyone know how the tuition deadline of july 25 works? I.e. How is it possible to pay tuition without loans and financial aid(which disburses in the begining of the semester I think)?

Re: Georgetown Law Class of 2019
Hey all, I just withdrew this morning. It was tough because I really like Georgetown and they shocked the hell out of me this week by offering me a pretty generous scholarship, but I think living in DC on one income would have been too much to ask of my husband for three years. I hope that this frees up some money for one of you!
Enjoy Georgetown guys; I would have loved my experience there I'm sure!

Hi all! I can't seem to find the 2016-2017 cost of attendance breakdown anywhere online / in the admitted students portals. Anyone know where I can find that?

I would definitely call/email the financial aid office. I know they touched on this at ASW but I don't remember the exact answer. They have a specific system for the first semester disbursement though.
