on my drive to work today there were 3 cyclists trying to like race each other in a narrow bike lane where there was NOT appropriate room to pass other bikes without veering into car traffic. I kept trying to get away from them but then I would hit a red light and they would all catch up and argue with each other at the light!!! surprised there wasn't a physical altercation tbh #portland

This sounds like a thing that people outside of California know/think about? I have no idea what the temperature is in my house at any given time.suralin wrote:ideal sleep temp?

I like that your binary system for describing people relies on whether or not they're in californiacapricasixx wrote:This sounds like a thing that people outside of California know/think about? I have no idea what the temperature is in my house at any given time.suralin wrote:ideal sleep temp?

Well, that's because we're the only state in the country that legitimately doesn't have seasons.benwyatt wrote:I like that your binary system for describing people relies on whether or not they're in californiacapricasixx wrote:This sounds like a thing that people outside of California know/think about? Can confirm, Southern California has no seasons. When I go to sleep, the temperature is whatever the temperature is. If it's over 78, I turn on a tower fan aimed at my bed.

yeah, but it's pretty much crazy hot like 75% of the year - it gets a little nice around january/feburary but I wouldn't consider that to be changing seasons..just a cold frontthelostweasley wrote:Yes. Florida has hot and humid season, and hotter and more humid season. Very distinct.darkchildnana wrote:Florida?capricasixx wrote:Well, that's because we're the only state in the country that legitimately doesn't have seasons.benwyatt wrote:I like that your binary system for describing people relies on whether or not they're in californiacapricasixx wrote:This sounds like a thing that people outside of California know/think about? To be fair CA has seasons. Windy Season (Late Summer-Fall), Sunny Season (After June Gloom goes away till windy season) , Overcast Season (Springish), and 'Wet' Season (Winterish through Spring-ish). Although this is more LA/OC specific
