I'm UAH as well. Also in couples housing, so maybe that has something to do with the larger deposit.

I'm regretting not doing couple's housing. My boyfriend likely won't be moving until 1L summer, and I just planned to try to transfer to a 1BR then, but we probably could have snagged a studio now (I want a studio anyway) and saved some headache in the process later down the line. Meh.

I got Lenfest, which does not provide ethernet. I'm an international and just checked the time warner website. The internet rate is crazy. Do people really pay $40 just to use hotspots, not even internet at their own houses?

do you think all assignments for the same building go out at the same time? i put lenfest as my first choice but haven't heard anything

I applied for couple's housing. Don't know if that's a factor.

Just a head's up for those not checking/not synced to their phone: yesterday's to-do Tuesday only came to my Columbia email.

Don't know if this was the case for everyone, but before this, I only got communication to my personal email.

Same here. Also going off of that, email confirms that people who applied for couples/family housing did get their assignments first. Assignments for singles start tomorrow and continue through the 22nd.

I'm also semi concerned my Dean's Certification won't arrive at CLS on the deadline.

I haven't heard anything about my FAFSA application yet, but I called shortly after I sent it to make sure they got everything, and they told me that they had it and would reach out sometime over the summer if anything was wrong or missing.

And I'm sure they won't kick you out for a late Dean's Certification. I emailed to make sure they got mine because I was worried my school never got around to sending it, and I got a really quick, helpful response. So you could always just email admit@law.columbia.edu if you're really concerned!

Just got my assignment. Did not win the studio lottery, but I think I'll be pretty happy with the two-bedroom I got. UAH housing, unfurnished, gas and electric included.
