Looks super fascinating, albeit not directly related to my interests I talked about in my app. Looking forward to reading it on my flight this Friday!!

I also got my acceptance package and book today! The book matches my interests perfectly, and I've also gotten some emails about campus organizations that fit my hobbies... for such a large school, HLS is very good at making admits feel valued as individuals.

Yes! I am in Europe and got it eventually, but it did take some time. Don't despair!jb1512 wrote:I was in Mar 10-11 wave and hasn't received any book from HLS.![]()
I'm living in Asia and wondering if that might be the reason....
Has any international residents received their books yet?

Even though I have committed to H, I am not filling out the survey. Have had the worst flight experience thanks to the weather in my home city. Was supposed to fly to Houston yesterday, but the city was hit with record flooding. My flight was canceled, they booked one for Wednesday, but I then miraculously managed to get a connecting flight to Tennessee and then to Houston. It is sti projected to rain today, but I hope this doesn't affect my flight. I don't have the financial resources (besides credit) to stay another day lol

Hey guys, after an entirely unexpected admission to Yale, checking out both ASWs, and a lot of thought--I have decided to attend Yale. That means I wouldn't be a very fitting OP anymore, so I have passed along the reigns to QuentonCassidy. He is going to be a great new OP!

Thanks to curious for the hard work thus far. In honor of the OP change there is a new poll up to get a sense of the aspirations of this thread's members. If you choose the unicorn option (or others for that matter) feel free to post ITT about what you are looking to do; I think it would be really interesting to see examples of some of these unique outcomes.mdnyc wrote:The OP is dead [to us], long live the OP!curious bobcat wrote:Hey guys, after an entirely unexpected admission to Yale, checking out both ASWs, and a lot of thought--I have decided to attend Yale. Feel free to let me know if you have suggestions for future polls or anything you would like to see added to the OP

To start off the unicorn outcomes posting, I'm a huge basketball fan and would really like to end up in a GC/AGM role with an NBA team (a la Mike Zarren of the Celtics). Would probably need to work in biglaw for a while to get there, but I'm definitely looking into HLS' sports law clinic.

Also ticked unicorn, similar to QC I hope to end up in a sports/entertainment law setting, in-house or something similar. Also susceptible to big law in the mean time, and also interested in the SL clinic! Basically, i'm just a knock-off QC.QuentonCassidy wrote:To start off the unicorn outcomes posting, I'm a huge basketball fan and would really like to end up in a GC/AGM role with an NBA team (a la Mike Zarren of the Celtics). Great choice!!curious bobcat wrote:I have passed along the reigns to QuentonCassidy.
Sandy Alderson - GM of the Mets and arguably the first successful sabermetrician (as A's GM before Billy Beane) - is also an HLS grad.QuentonCassidy wrote:To start off the unicorn outcomes posting, I'm a huge basketball fan and would really like to end up in a GC/AGM role with an NBA team (a la Mike Zarren of the Celtics). There are a ton of Harvard law grads in sports. Just one more example that comes to mind: Sashi Brown who runs the show for the Browns went to HLS.cantorb wrote:Great choice!!curious bobcat wrote:I have passed along the reigns to QuentonCassidy.
