Having reconsidered the matter, I've decided that I like my tar (read: I'm far too lazy to bother making a concerted effort to up my post-count).
I am glad that I've managed to lure some of you back to the thread though!

Also, I think the resulting 8 notifications from that post is the most I've gotten in a 3 minute timespan. So something productive was accomplished.

We've been trying to develop a ten-digit rating system to complement the area code system.
(123)456-7890
1= Rating of the face from 1-9
2= Would you hit it? 0 for no, 1 for yes
3= Rating of the body from 1-9
456= Attraction level from 001-999 (001 being about at interested in them as you are in unbuttered toast, and 999 being you would literally walk 500 miles and possibly 500 more to spend a night with them)
7= Fewest number of drinks you would need to hook up with them from 0-9 (note that 9 in this instance is effectively infinity)
8= Rating of how much they're killing/crushing it from 1-9 (are they financially viable for long-term pursuit)
9= Rating of aesthetics from 1-9
0= Would you hit it? 0 for no, 1 for yes
The ideal in this system would be (919)999-0991, the inverse would be (101)000-9010

Not the wrong thread, this is an extension of a discussion we were having in groupchat. What would you replace 7 with?barley wrote:Is this in the wrong threadBirdLawExpert wrote:We've been trying to develop a ten-digit rating system to complement the area code system.

Yeah, there's likely a better way to phrase #7 to avoid any undesired implications. I would try to rephrase it myself, but I've come to the conclusion that I'm best off when I keep a 10 foot pole between me and any discussion re sexual assault.

This was (I believe) related to me not understanding the area code system, an explanation and discussion of nuance, and then my saying they would probably figure out a 10 digit code if they kept at it. Yeah, I think #7 is a bit problematic as is. Perhaps length of time since last time? 0 being anytime and 9 being an extremely long time or something.BirdLawExpert wrote:Not the wrong thread, this is an extension of a discussion we were having in groupchat. Hmm... at first glance, I thought that the new #7 seems to lower the objectivity of applying the scale to anyone other than yourself. But after some consideration, I think it still works. This gives a "bias report" to the rest of the numbers, if you assume that length of time correlates with easier standards (which I might contest, but
)

I've was just staring at your tar, and I realized that his moustache looks like a mouth. This has become incredibly distracting/disorientating, but also hilarious, especially if you ignore the bottom, "real" mouth.TheKisSquared wrote:
