This would be much appreciated, even if I'll get my ass kicked on N64. My N64 was stolen, and I'm not rich enough to buy another working console and Mario Kart cartridge (seriously, that shit is expensive). I've gotten much better at Doubledash, but I still recognize 64 as the superior game.TheKisSquared wrote: I'll bring the N64 so us olds can not be creamed so bad XD

Also, if this is Mario Kart 64, I'm proud to mention that I have every course memorized from what amounted to playing daily my freshman year. So bring it.

Currently, no. I won't be bringing my console (no place to pack it for my flight), so I'll be buying stuff when I get to NY. May buy additional games if funds available and popular demand exists.pittsburghpirates wrote:Also, do you have other mario games (tennis, party, etc.) and super smash? asking for meBearlyalive wrote:This would be much appreciated, even if I'll get my ass kicked on N64. eta: also, I suck at SSB, so demand must be overwhelming before I cave and reveal the depths of my ineptitude.

I basically always choose Pikachu and try to get lucky with lightning. That or Capt. Falcon and get lucky with punches. Only ever played the N64 version tho.rska884 wrote: I'm terrible at SSB too. We can have a loser's bracket contest.

So what exactly is the difference between our @columbia.edu email and our @law.columbia.edu email? I can access the first but no idea how to access the second or if its even needed.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the @columbia.edu email is the only one we can access. your firstname.lastname@law.columbia.edu email will just forward to your @columbia.edu emailAnon13 wrote:So what exactly is the difference between our @columbia.edu email and our @law.columbia.edu email? Hi new best friend.
My old roommate took his N64 with him when he moved, it's been terrible.

I wasn't thrilled about having to move to New York so early at first, but I'm definitely starting to appreciate the two weeks of Legal Methods before all of our other fall classes begin now. We're going to have so much fun!!TheKisSquared wrote:I never knew how easy it was to make friends before!![]()

From what I've heard from friends who went to CLS, it's tough for newcomers to explore the city first semester (for obvious reasons). Getting some time in August to explore a bit is a great way to do it.pint wrote:I wasn't thrilled about having to move to New York so early at first, but I'm definitely starting to appreciate the two weeks of Legal Methods before all of our other fall classes begin now. But in all seriousness I appreciate the time to get oriented (heh) in the city before putting my nose to the grind.

That makes a lot of sense. Plus, we out-of-towners will probably need significant recovery time from all of the pizza and hip trendy food (rainbow donuts?) that we'll be gorging ourselves on.rska884 wrote:

Don't get any food you see being "trendy" on a blog. It's never worth the massive lines.pint wrote:That makes a lot of sense.
