I usually get too influenced by the performances, but I saw Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen in No Man's Land last year and it was amazing.BirdLawExpert wrote:What're your favorites?BirdLawExpert wrote:I love certain musicals, but I don't have the deep knowledge that a bunch of other theatre people that I know are able to conjure up.lemondrop wrote: I'm not gonna lie, I am disappointed after you mentioned Hamilton and Les Mis, but alas. That's not even fair. They're reprising it in London this year and I want to fly there just to see it.rska884 wrote:I usually get too influenced by the performances, but I saw Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen in No Man's Land last year and it was amazing.BirdLawExpert wrote:What're your favorites?BirdLawExpert wrote:I love certain musicals, but I don't have the deep knowledge that a bunch of other theatre people that I know are able to conjure up.lemondrop wrote: I'm not gonna lie, I am disappointed after you mentioned Hamilton and Les Mis, but alas. All excellent choices. Shakespeare doesn't even count in my head because they'd all be my favorites; our program had a heavy Shakespearean focus. Playing Odysseus sounds like a blast! That's awesome.lemondrop wrote:12 angry men is a classic and as future lawyers ofc we love itBirdLawExpert wrote:

Again, that's just insane. I haven't been to NY since I was like 6 but the theatre itself might be worth abandoning my plans and trying to go NYC Big Law.rska884 wrote: I'd recommend it, even with the flight
Also got to see a pre-opening showing of The Crucible with Ben Whishaw and Saorise Roanin a few weeks ago. If you're in NYC any time soon, highly recommend that as well.

Well, it is the place to be for it. I don't go a ton, but my mom's a theater professor (/actress/director/writer/all sorts of things), so she lets me know when there's something she's really excited for.BirdLawExpert wrote:Again, that's just insane.
