This group has basically consisted of a few 1L & 2L's asking about subleasers for the summer... so don't get your expectations too high!
Yeah the trashness of the Facebook group is killing my Michigan hype. Someone do things.

What happens if an admitted student with a Darrow declines Michigan's offer? Do they extend new Darrow invites or just put the money back into a general scholarship pool?

I think it goes back into the regular pool. There's about 14 Darrow's but I saw wayy more than that at the Darrow breakfast during asw. I'm guessing they overextend offers expecting some people to decline.

Any Summers out there received more info about what section they are in? I've seen the general schedule posted online but haven't seen any specifics. Do we not hear until Orientation? There are only 34 days left at this point!

I was told by a 3L summer starter at preview that we get an email a week or so before orientation.

Looking at lawschoolnumbers my gpa was .01-.02 away from the people who got the next level of scholarship money. If my gpa goes up to that after this semester, do you think they'd consider it even though I've lost my leverage.
You still have leverage, I believe, since the deposit is not binding.

That sucks, I need to book flights for a wedding and I want to know what my schedule is like so I won't miss class... Any clue on when/where we get a textbook list?

I would email admissions. I am sure they have more specific insight—most of the summer class is likely set—and haven't released it yet.

The 1L Summer and Fall course schedules have been out for a long time. They may be subject to change?

Summer Starters -
Civ Pro with Cooper - M,T,W,Th - 850-1030
Different Legal Practice Courses, but they are all on Tuesday and Thursday
Torts with Clark - M,T,W,Th - Sections A/C are at 1:15-2:45. Sections B/D are at 3:15-4:45

Thats all you need to know for now.
OP noted s/he already saw this and was asking about specific section assignments.

Additional question about Summer Start:

If our financial aid packages included $x / semester for a total of $6x / 3 years, we should get that $x for this summer too, right?

Yep, as far as I understand summer start is one of your semesters just like any other. Hence summer starts graduating in Dec if they don't take a semester off anywhere else along the way.

I had this same problem. It seemed the apartments were either a. affordable, but undesirable or b. desirable and out of my price range. Do I remember you saying that you were moving with pets?
