YAY! Welcome!Bearlyalive wrote:Just put down my deposit! I'll see you all next Fall!
Most of those links are broken for me, yeah, but if you go to the actual checklist page it'll bring you to the right place. I was unable to set up my lawnet account yet though and it says give them about a week to activate it for you.CallMeEccentric wrote:SO EXCITED to start in the fall.
For my fellow future classmates that have deposited already: on the admitted student website, does the task link at the bottom saying "Active your LawNet Account" work? Mine goes to a "page not found"![]()
On another note:
I'm going to be in New York this summer and wanted to see if I cold sublet a current student's housing. How would/should I go about doing this? Thanks for any help/suggestions!

+1. Hamilton Heights has also turned into an awesome neighborhood recently (and is still very cheap), worth looking at.eugepaeee wrote:Yay, just deposited!
Also: If anyone wants to apartment search this summer, preferably for an August 1st move-in, hit me up! As someone who went to undergrad at CU and has lived in the city for several years, I'd HIGHLY recommend living just north or east or campus, since you can find much nicer and cheaper apartments there.
+1. this is very exciting.ugg wrote:Officially have my Columbia email address.

Gonna probably call and harass them tomorrow because I have a deposit deadline at 5pm tomorrow and really hope I don't have to make the decision without all the information in front of me.

In the same exact situation. I called today and got a very vague "it's in your file and you'll hear soon" but she said she couldn't guarantee it'd be by tomorrow.benwyatt wrote:Almost deposited but chickened out because I'm still waiting on my financial aid.

Not undergrad, but did a CU masters and checked in about UNI--they told me I can keep my old UNI and nothing needs to be done to get it set up or transferred over or anything.frasier wrote:Any other CU undergrad alumni know if we get to keep our UNIs or if we get new ones assigned?
