Where did you end up?

Georgetown. DC is the center of everything in the country that matters, so of course I'm going to the best school in DC. Also, have you SEEN the student rec center?!

So do we know how serious the April 1st scholarship deadline is? They said no extensions but is that for real? And do people actually remove their names from waitlists when accepting an offer?

jk I mostly found what I was looking for by scrolling back. So the consensus is submit the intent to enrol by April 1st, but don't submit the second form until May 1st and you're okay to keep playing the field?

Where can we find the intent to enroll form? I checked on the admitted students portal and all I could find was that binding commitment form that waives the first tuition fee

It was attached to the email that told you your scholarship amount.

I got an email back today about negotiation and my scholarship was doubled! I wasn't expecting that much of an increase. It is still probably not quite enough to make me attend but if I can get them to up it one more time I probably will.

Did anyone who notified them of interest to be considered for merit aid (after not receiving the feeler email) hear anything after the initial rounds of offers went out recently? Will they notify us if we are not getting anything? It seems like they may have passed over us.

I didn't get a feeler email and sent a merit aid request, and ended up with a reasonable (maybe not amazing) amount of aid. So it has happened at least once

I didn't get a feeler email, sent them an email stating my interest and received a low-ish scholarship offer I'm trying to negotiate. Crossing my fingers I'll hear from them soon...

I wonder what their pattern is. I received a Feeler email and didn't receive an offer, nor was placed on "hold" for scholarship money. Since people are already getting their initial offer increased, I wonder why some of us are just experiencing radio silence....

What was the turn around time on that? And did they acknowledge the interest email you sent before getting back to you with an offer?

Did you receive the offer in the initial rounds or after?

I'm not him, but after not receiving a feel I sent them a email on 2/29 asking about merit aid, got an email from them the next day saying they received my request for merit aid, and I got a very low initial offer in the first waive.

I requested the merit aid on March 1st and they replied within the day acknowledging my email.

I received an offer exactly 2 weeks later, with everyone else.

I received an offer in what I assume to be the first round on March 14th. Sent them a letter asking to up my offer the same day and still haven't heard anything.

And this communication is sent to the hotline email? I emailed the director of admissions as I was told to do and she hasn't responded... I don't want to double email them but I also don't want to have my request be ignored/fall through the cracks.

Everything has been through hotline. The award email even said to contact the Director of Admissions via the hotline email if you had any questions.

Increase just came in - 50% more than the original offer, but still far too low. Likely withdrawing.
