I plan on going with my SO to the second ASW. I saw the schedules for them are nearly identical to our own, so it should be fun.
I'm bringing my SO to the second ASW!

Hi my future classmates, I have a silly question - I have to leave early on Saturday therefore won't be able to attend the mock class. Should I write an email to the professor to let him know? I feel this may be more polite in case he cold calls, but at the same time I don't want to stress the fact that I'll be absent...

What is everyone's opinion on the Shield? and what do you think they will change it to?

I can guarantee the professor is neither going to notice nor care. Last year, I treated ASW like a buffet. Went to what I wanted, didn't go to what I didn't want to (including the mock class).

There won't be any repercussions...you're in, and ASW is about pitching HLS to you, not the other way around.

Not sure I'm gonna be able to make ASW2 (or 1, obviously), so if you guys fancy being vocal about your thoughts/experiences from this weekend, it would be greatly appreciated!
