+1. I'm limiting ASW trips to my top two or three schools.jtg21 wrote:I was tempted to visit more schools for that exact reason...except I'd probably lose my job ahead of schedule if I did so.ugg wrote:kinda wish I was visiting more schools so I'd have an excuse to travel ...

+3. I only have so much accrued PTO so I'm kinda just hoping any ASWs I want to attend happen to coincide with trips I've already planned. Business trips, even better.WinterComing wrote:+1. I wasn't planning on going to any ASW because money (and I've already visited all the schools I'm seriously considering) but now I'm searching plane tickets at work because I NEED TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.
Happy Monday y'all. It's going to be a helluva week.

How do you fantasize about quitting your job?ugg wrote:anyone got any good poll ideas?
a) Burn the building down Office Space-style
b) Moonwalk out with a giant boombox on shoulder blasting "Take This Job and Shove It"
c) Seething "open letter" sent to all-staff
d) Slime your boss old school Nickelodeon-style
e) Just stop showing up and see how long they continue to pay you

My wife could go into labor any day now. Of course, the primary reason I'm excited for the baby to arrive is so that I can meet her, but the week of paternity leave from work will be a welcome side benefit (not that caring for a newborn will be a walk in the park).

Solid pick, but I'm currently wrapping up Broad City so I was thinking something with more structure. I'm probably just going to end up finishing X-Files.fips tedora wrote:Trailer Park Boys /pollBirdLawExpert wrote:Best show to binge watch while waiting for schools to get back to you.ugg wrote:anyone got any good poll ideas?

I'm watching the X-Files currently, and each season gets progressively better. You should watch Frasier, it's a solid ten, and there are plenty of episodes that are witty and well-written. There's a breadth of vocabulary usage in there as well.BirdLawExpert wrote:Solid pick, but I'm currently wrapping up Broad City so I was thinking something with more structure. Ha! I really appreciate the offer, but we've already got a name picked out, and also that seems a little weird maybe, so I'm going to graciously decline.capricasixx wrote:+1 but only if the poll can have a write-in optionugg wrote:how about a WHAT TO NAME YOUR BABY poll?WinterComing wrote:My wife could go into labor any day now. I mean that's fine, I get that, but I think you should let us name your baby.
